Ponies!
I had to share these photos of my friend Susan's cute granddaughter and her two adorable ponies. What a lucky little girl! The chestnut pony is for sale on Equine.com if you search within 25 miles of Springfield, MO.

New Horse Trailer!!!
Mom and Dad found me an awesome trailer on craiglist this weekend. On Saturday Daniel and I drove up to Collins, MO and liked what we saw. So I have a new trailer!! I am so excited. I got home Saturday and powerwashed the living life out of it, then washed it with soft scrub, then washed it again with dish soap (it has probably never been so clean, outside at least). It is a 1979 WW Gooseneck 2 horse slant w/ dressing room/living quarters. (It is older than me, but I love it!)Here it is all cleaned up:

What a sweet looking rig! :)Here is a picture of the horse area after I powerwashed it:

And the otherside, after Pete and Margo got baths:

I am going to paint the ugly white door. :) Thanks Mom and Dad for helping me get this sweet ride! (I am selling my other trailer, scroll down for more info on it)

Custom Barrels for Racing
I put an ad on craigslist.org looking for some 55 gallon oil drums to can chase. A nice guy at maintenance shop at the country club out by the Missouri Sport Hall of Fame (can't remember name of country club!) called me and said he had some he would give me. So Daniel and I drove over there and picked up the three nastiest looking barrels ever. I bought some pink spray paint and went crazy on them! Ha! I decided to finish them off with custom monograms in my initials SLS. I know I probably have the only pink monogrammed barrels anywhere. So, Daniel comes out to look when I finish the last one and he says "Sara, you have the prettiest barrels in the county." Ha! I about died laughing!

Fairy Rings
Conformation Shots
Here are a few picture I took of Margo to put on this website where they critique a horses conformation. I am really curious what people will think of her underlying structure. (In the picture with her hind legs close together, she looks cow hocked, but I think it is just the way she is standing.)Here is the link http://fhotd64476.yuku.com/bfhotd64476

Ahhh!! Freak Out!
Well, I about had a heart attack on Sunday when I looked at Pete's little pony mouth. His top left front tooth and two bottom front teeth look like he got kicked in the mouth! Ahh! I looked online and found out that this is common in young horses, they lose their baby teeth around 2 1/2 to 3 years old. It looks absolutely horrible though! Bloody raw looking gums, yuck! (I have included a photo so you can imagine my initial horror) It seems like everything is ok though, he is eating normally and doesn't seem to have any out of the ordinary sensitivity.

It is Halloween early!
