Been Busy

I'm doing so much better since my accident back in October. I have been riding like crazy, 2-3 horses a day, most everyday. I love my new horse Esby! We will be showing at SMHJA shows this year! Woohoo!

Esby

My new hunter prospect, now called "Esby" is coming along wonderfully :)

New Start

Today is my last day at my current job. I have decided to pack up and am moving to North Carolina on Tuesday! I accepted the position of Barn Manager at a large Hunter/Jumper barn in Apex, NC, just West of Raleigh.

Arrangements have been made for my personal horses to stay here in Missouri. I'm leaving behind 3 cats too :( However, I am taking my best cat, Christmas, with me. I'm pretty excited and scared and happy and sad!

Gypsy

Gypsy is a Connemara/TB cross I have been riding. She is for sale

Hunter Derby

Margo and I had a refusal and didn't place =( Melinda, however, got 10th out of 20 on her greenie, so that was good :)

Jack is Sold!

Congrats to Kierstin of o'Fallon, Ill.

NWAHJA Summer Classic

Getting really excited to head down to Fayetteville, Arkansas this Friday for the Northwest Arkansas H/J Association Summer Classic Horse Show! I'm taking my paint mare Margo, and maybe my friends horse Molly. Planning to ride in the Hunter Derby and Jumper classes. Can't wait! Link

Margo at Stone Ridge

I think my eq over fences has really improved

I love this picture!

Here we are chilling under the gooseneck with Melinda P

Margo didn't have the best show. We pulled a rail in out Jumper I class. We did get 3rd out of 9 in our timed Jumper II class. I was pleased with that.

We did horrible in our Non-Pro Hunter Division. Only placing 4th in one out of three classes. Grrr.
