We were down at Rockaway Beach, MO this past weekend. They have 4th of July festivities during the day, including some contests, and fireworks at night.
Anyway, I entered the watermelon seed spitting contest...
Mine did not go very far at all... The winner spit his almost 20 feet, mine landed like one foot over the yellow lines. :(I also entered the hay bale throwing contest (since I'm a horsewoman, I had to represent...) (eyes rolling) Of course, I lost. The winner threw his over the edge of the road and down the hill... no one else came close to that. But, here is the awesome picture my Dad took of my throw...
Oh well. The prize was a helicopter ride in Branson! Dang ya'll!
