Another Abandoned Places post...
I really like how nature reclaims what we abandon. I also like movies and such, for example, I Am Legend or 28 Days Later, or (fill in movie/book here) where the population is gone, and only a few individuals remain. Creepy!
Here are some awesome pictures from "Sweet-Juniper" of Detroit's abandoned homes...
Sweet-Juniper also had some neat forgotten street photos (also in Detroit)

Hmm, these remind me of an abandoned farm house in western Kansas.
Remember, it was a dark and stormy night and I pulled into the driveway of this abandoned farm house in the the pickup.
You and Lil Jim started screaming and yelling you were scared, your Mom made me back up and leave.
Which I did and I got the truck struck in the mud.
Remember that? I probably scarred you for life!
Love,
Dad
Hey, Sara's dad, don't feel bad. When my aunt was visitng my dad decided scaring us all half to death would be fun and drove us through the worst part of the worst town around (small, but highest murder rate in the US).
There was a gang fight going on just feet from our car. I think it DID scar me for life! :P
Sara, I really like those movies too... especially I Am Legend, I thought it was really good.
The pictures are pretty interesting.
Isn't it a parents job to scar their children for life?
