More Hackamores..

This one is pretty, with engraved sides, on eBay for $35... These two are handmade by Knot Just Rope... She has a couple different styles...

Here are the other saddles this lady has to trade... The one I like is in the middle above.I like the look of this one the best, but it is an extra wide, too big for Margo I think...

Used Ovation Saddles

Sigh... This one is only $1000... :) I bought a used ovation saddle and it was the nicest saddle I have ever owned. It didn't fit Margo perfectly though, so I sold it to Tara, but, I want another one!!! I guess I need to start saving up... Maybe since I quit drinking Starbucks....

My New Saddle Came!

Here is my beautiful new Ovation saddle! It is sooooo soft! I love it! It seems to fit Margo pretty good, it fits nicely along her back and over her wither, but I need second opinions as to how it fits over her shoulders. It fit my butt beautifully though!! :)
And of course, here is Petey, bored and hungry (always hungry!)...

Sophie's Saddle Finally Came!

Only took two months! It's soooo little! Omg, here is is on Margo, lol! My brother said "fat horse in a little saddle" (Have you seen Chris Farley's fat guy in a little coat, from that one movie?)Ha-ha! Here is a blurry pic of it on Petey Pants, lol. He is the real fat man here! (He is also extra hairy, don't be mean!) But it looks cute on him!

Found Sophie her first saddle!

It is a Wintec Lead Line saddle. I found it on Albany, NY Craigslist for $60 (new ones are $150+), plus only $10 for the little tiny leathers and stirrups! Yay! :)

My New Saddle (Pics!)

Yea! I am so happy to have got it! It fits Margo too!
My friend Kelsey (who owns my old horse) emailed me last night and said she has the same model and loves it! Hers is 25 years old and still going strong!
(Also, I finally got to use my new monogrammed saddle pad that has been sitting in my tack room for two years! It wasn't the right shape for my old English saddle) :)
(And doesn't it look swanky up against my lovely wood paneling? Ha!)
